General
Goods and services tax is applicable on all our products. As you will note from our website, in our stores and in our catalogues, all prices include GST. The current rate of GST is 10%. This rate may change in the future and will be based on Australian legislation. The prices indicated for products exclude freight and handling.
Baby Village reserves the right to cancel, at any time before delivery and for whatever reason, an Order that it has previously accepted. Baby Village may do this for example, but without limitation, where:
(a) Baby Village’s suppliers are unable to supply Goods that they have previously promised to supply;
(b) an event beyond Baby Village’s control, such as storm, fire, flood, earthquake, terrorism, power failure, war, strike or failure of computer systems, means that Baby Village is unable to supply the Goods within a reasonable time;
(c) Goods ordered were subject to an error on the Website, for example, in relation to a description, price or image, which was not discovered prior to the Order being accepted.

We shall not be liable to you for any breach, hindrance or delay in the performance of a Contract attributable to any cause beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation any natural disaster and unavoidable incident, actions of third parties (including without limitation hackers, suppliers, governments, quasi-governmental, supra-national or local authorities), insurrection, riot, civil commotion, war, hostilities, warlike operations, national emergencies, terrorism, piracy, arrests, restraints or detainments of any competent authority, strikes or combinations or lock-out of workmen, epidemic, fire, explosion, storm, flood, drought, weather conditions, earthquake, natural disaster, accident, mechanical breakdown, third party software, failure or problems with public utility supplies (including electrical, telecoms or Internet failure), shortage of or inability to obtain supplies, materials, equipment or transportation ("Event of Force Majeure"), regardless of whether the circumstances in question could have been foreseen.
Either you or we may terminate a Contract forthwith by written notice to the other in the event that the Event of Force Majeure lasts for a period of two Business Days or more, in which event neither you nor we shall be liable to the other by reason of such termination (other than for the refund of a Product already paid for by you and not delivered).
If we have contracted to provide identical or similar Products to more than one Customer and are prevented from fully meeting our obligations to you by reason of an Event of Force Majeure, we may decide at our absolute discretion which contracts we will perform and to what extent.
All sales in our Alexandria Outlet are final. No exchange, no refunds. Baby Village will not be responsible for any damages after collection. Delivery options available.
Layby
At Baby Village we want to make your experience is as easy as possible, that’s why we offer an 8-week layby, giving you time to pay for all the things you need without the rush.

ZIP Money
Anyone who is over 18 years old, is an Australian resident, is employed in some capacity, and earns more than $300 per week is eligible to apply. ZIP’s lending criteria is then applied to each application.
Simply select the ZIP payment option at checkout and proceed with our simple application process.
All you need to apply is the personal and banking information you know by heart, and the identification details in your wallet or handbag – it’s that simple!
The application process is quick and easy and you will usually have an answer within 4 minutes of starting your application! Once your Account is accepted and verified you're good to go.
ZIP will process your application by assessing the application information, ensuring the loan is not unsuitable for you, and ensuring that you can comfortably afford the repayments. Verification performed by ZIP include standard credit and transactional bank account checks. ZIP lending and credit criteria applies to all applications.
Once your Account is approved and you have accepted the Terms and Conditions and entered your secure SMS code, your Account will be activated. After activation you can start purchasing right away!
Afterpay
Afterpay offers a simple instalment plan for online shopping, allowing your purchase to be paid for in four equal instalments, due every fortnight.
First-time customers will need to setup an Afterpay account and provide payment details, returning customers will simply log in to make your purchase.
At any time, you can log in to your Afterpay account to see your payment schedule and make a payment before the due date. Otherwise Afterpay will automatically deduct the instalments from your debit or credit card every fortnight.
The current transaction limit for Afterpay is $1,200; if your purchase is greater than this amount, the Afterpay option will not be made available. Afterpay uses an automated system that considers a number of different factors when determining which transactions to approve including the length of time you've held an Afterpay account and how many transactions you've made in a given period.
PaySquad
PaySquad is a group payment method where multiple people can contribute financially to a single order. It's perfect for work colleagues who want to chip in for a present, or for family members contributing to larger purchases such as prams and nursery furniture. For more info head to Paysquad.co.
There are no fees for you or your Squad to use Paysquad.
If your Squad doesn’t reach 100% by the deadline, no money will be taken from your account! Currently, it is not possible to go over the goal amount.
You have up to 3 days to reach 100% of the order amount.
Only the organiser of a Paysquad needs an account. Everyone else can contribute as a guest. No application is required.
